Engine ready Turbine Components

 

One of our colleagues has previously introduced Recotech AB to inform you about our company, products produced, skills in our processes and our partners within the Nordic Turbine Components network. (www.nordicturbine.com)

As promised, we utilized the time to develop ourselves, as well as our production processes and have made some investments. We would now like to present to you our new production capabilities, which can be discussed through concrete business examples. Therefore, we will as previously be attending the two upcoming major European Gas Turbine Exhibitions, both taking place in June 2010.

Recotech AB has acquired GSE Partners AB and its subsidiary ES Partners AB. All three companies have a common history and heritage in the aviation industry, and are part of Arboga Teknikpark.

Former owner and entrepreneur Christer Haglind and his son, CEO Andreas Haglind, will pass responsibility to the new owner Bo Martin Tell and his site manager Lorin Mayer Nordström to run the new organisation, from the September 1st 2010.

The three organisations complement each other perfectly and will create new synergies and business possibilities.

-Together the new company will give our clients a wider range of services and offers, says Bo Martin Tell, owner of Recotech AB.

Christer Haglind took the opportunity to thank his business connections for years of good co-operation. He will now focus on his spare time activities on a full time basis.

Recotech celebrates ever ongoing expansion

rec_inv3It was a celebration day for Recotech with inauguration of the new company premises. Prominent guest and personnel were attending the reception. With a growth of 30 percent per year, the company has hired new staff and had outgrown the old premises by far. MD and owner Bo Martin Tell (left in the picture) tells: “The new premises give us the best possible basis for further growth. The new buildings include 700 m2 production facilities and 300 m2 office space including Materials laboratory and gym for the personnel.” He continues: “The company would like to thank all guest who attended the reception and made this day a celebration.”

rec_vartan3At Värtan in Stockholm, a coal fired power plant, applying the Pressurised Fluid Bed Combustion (PFBC) process has been in operation since 1989, with availability above 90% in recent years. The plant is The world’s first PFBC plant and owned jointly by Fortum OY and the City of Stockholm. This summer there will be an overhaul of the plant and Recotech is chossen to perform complete repairs for many of their components.

ASME Turbo Expo 2010, 14-18 June 2010

rec_exeb3Recotech also joined the Turbo Expo in Glasgow. We are pleased that so many were able to stop and share some of your valuable time with us. Per Önnemar, Engineering, IWE, says it was interesting in discussing different possibilities. One example is Thermal Barier Coating for Hot zone blades and vanes where Recotech has many years of experience.

Celebrate the start of the summer

rec_summer3The summer has started! Reason enough to go out and take a break. Summertime is high season for barbecues in the garden and visiting with friends and family. Recotech are open all summer with a limited production from 19 July to 6 August, so there is always staff on hand to help you throughout the summer. We wish you relaxing summer holidays!
